This is the first part of ten of a puzzle poetry work I made for a special friend of mine

FIRST QUESTION: DO YOU LOVE HER?

I
At 6 o’clock of any given Sunday, without sun yet
I woke up, leaving in the bed the spirit of the last night
Following an instinct, I covered half of my face with foam to stand what I was about to look
And tired of being ignored for years, my reflection decided to call me from the mirror
“Stop avoiding it, and avoiding yourself, and tell me… Do you love her?”

II
I kept quiet. Yes, I knew what to say, but… why the hell I have to answer myself?
My reflection moved out in a deviant way, separating finally of which I am
“You can’t deny it, in the same way you can’t deny me forever” – he said
And like a cat put in a corner, without space to runaway, I had to face the mirror image
“And what if I accept that she’s taking out all my dreams every night?”

III
Now I got half of my mouth and chin free of foam and weed
And I can see everything clearly, her eyes, my eyes, my lips trembling by thinking about her
“So then… do you love her?” – For the third time, the deny part of my self asked
A nervous laugh invaded me, also two memories and tree broken stories
“If only the things were that simple…” – and I turned my back to my reflection

IV
Totally blind, I finished shaving, but in the final move, I cut my upper lip
“This is what it happens when you don’t dare to see who you are at least five minutes a day”
My reflect said that as he was making fun of me, pointing the bleeding spot
Finally, I was decided to shut up all the voices in my head
I took a little bit of pink-stained foam and I wrote in the mirror a big “Yes”
